Natick High School Games is a channel created for the purpose of displaying the games created by the students of Natick High in Mr. Fleming's Advanced Game Design class. All the games featured on this channel are 100% student-created games completed in teams of 3 to 5 within a single semester of school.
The games you find on here are all at different levels of completeness. This may be due to time limitations, leading to scope and feature cuts, along with certain games being incomplete due to the COVID-19 pandemic limiting class time.
The purpose of this class is for students to experience a real-world game studio setting, where they follow the process of pitching their game ideas, creating a pre-alpha, alpha, beta, and gold builds of their final game. Students take the time to research and build upon previously learned skills. You will find that each game on this channel will contain a description of, not only what the game is, but what the students learned and what they were looking to achieve during their production.
